Jekyll Island (Acoustic)

lyrics

Meet me at the hospital I can't afford to pay the bill,
the doctor said he'd wrap me up and send me home with sample pills.
I should be back by midnight going to stop off at the liquor store,
to pick me up some medicine, I figure I might need some more.

I want more.
Enough is never enough when you want more.

Never ending cycle as soon as I get my head on straight,
I'm spinning right back around too frustrated to contemplate,
my choice of what I am doing here, my purpose burning to the core.
I'm thankful for what I have but in the end I just want more.

the more you spin around
the more the truth comes out
your lies entangle you
with a web that we see through

You try to feed me money,
but I can't stomach the bills.
You try to feed me pills to kill
any remaining will.

but, I want more.
